We are jumping out of our skin excited for this upcoming season!
Our hot glass furnace just received a face lift and is ready to melt another year’s worth of hot molten glass or as we like to call it “liquid gold”. The furnace will slowly come back up to 2150 degrees over a period of a week in order to prepare the clear molten liquid gold for glass blowers.
The shop will be hot, ready, and open September 1, for DMG’s awarded emerging artists to start their September residency. Each emerging artist will be creating a new body of work during the month. The works created here at DMG will be featured in the Duncan McClellan Gallery, October 12 during St Pete’s famous art walk. Make sure you stop by and see the action!
