It’s that time again- join us for Art Walk this 2nd Saturday to welcome dynamic duo Jason Chakravarty and Jennifer Caldwell from Phoenix, Arizona!  While also developing independent bodies of work, Jason and Jennifer have blended their unique styles and techniques to bring us some beautiful collaborative pieces, as well as several of their individual pieces for their ‘Sea Discernibly’ show this month at Duncan McClellan Gallery. Renowned Artist Nancy Callan Comes to Duncan McClellan Gallery in April!

Join us this upcoming 2nd Saturday, April 8th from 5 to 10 pm as we welcome Seattle glass artist Nancy Callan to St. Petersburg! Callan’s work showcases fanciful imagery using whimsical patterns made with Venetian cane techniques that she has been refining for over ten years.  Her bright color combinations convey a spirit of fun, imagination, and the playful side of the unconscious mind. Sponsored by the DMG School Project, Callan’s glassblowing demonstration begins around 6:15 pm in the Hot Shop, for all to witness this amazing artist work her glass magic. Saturday, May 14, 5-10pm Static Flow with Zac Gorell Artist’s reception Saturday, May 14, 5-10pm with glassblowing demonstration beginning at 6pm. The exhibit runs through June 6, 2016. Since taking his first gather of glass in the fall of 2001, Zac has been practicing the craft as well as teaching others all over the world.  Beginning his career in Cleveland Ohio, Zac had his ‘baptism by fire’ at  Superior Hot Glass.  In these fertile grounds a foundation was laid so Zac could acquire and hone the skills necessary to become a master gaffer.
