More Than The Typical Workshop

The goal of this workshop is to involve everyone in the process of glass blowing. A team-building camaraderie will form naturally throughout this process as the nature of making glass demonstrates the symbiotic relationship of these fields and encourages everyone to apply this perspective to work and life experiences. During your corporate team building event, DMG School Project provides each person with classroom instruction, a gallery tour, a glassblowing demonstration and the ability to produce a glass art object of their own creation.

The Common Goal

Companies know that team building activities are beneficial, which is why they’re so widely used to strengthen companies. When faced with hurdles and challenges, team members must use different skills like situational analysis, brainstorming and leadership to accomplish the common-goal: success.

Remove Boundaries

Challenge your company or team within a setting that removes the boundaries team members face daily.  These new interactions will allow your team members to see their colleagues from a different perspective. Overcome communication problems and break down barriers that you may not know even exist through our Corporate Team Building program.

Try it Out

As part of the Corporate Team Building program, teams schedule a 2.5-hour visit to the DMG complex and receive a docent tour and discussion of the works of the over 105 international glass artists on display. They witness the step-by-step process of hot glass art and sand-etch their own creations.

DMG provides all the materials for the etching process. Please email Lauren@dmgschoolproject.org for more information.

“We really enjoyed our visit to the duncan gallery. The glass is spectacular. We were free to wander around and view the exhibits. Someone did spend some time with us discussing the various artists and their techniques and also told us a little about what the gallery has to offer re classes etc. Very enjoyable visit. Would recommend it.”
