Introduction to Glassblowing Experience – September

Our Third Saturday Hot Glass Workshops bring an unparalleled hands-on glass making experience to St. Petersburg. This class is an excellent opportunity to learn the basics of glass making, create a series of blown and solid glass pieces, and have an unforgettable experience. Our qualified instructors draw from years of experience and practice to provide you with the best guidance possible as you discover this unique art form. 3rd Saturday Hot Glass Class

When: every 3rd Saturday of the month. Class begins at 10am and ends between 12 and 3pm (*end time is dependent on the number of students).

Where: St. Pete Glassworks: 2342 Emerson Avenue South St. Petersburg, FL 33712

Who: ages 10+

Group size: minimum 2 people, maximum 4.

Cost: $200 per student

Additional information:

-What you will make: All students make 3 finished pieces: a crystal rose bud and two additional projects which they select from an array of pre-made samples. Student may add colors of their choice to their 2nd and 3rd pieces.

-What to wear: closed toed shoes and cotton clothing

-What to bring: drinking water/ water bottle

-Picking up finished glass pieces: students may pick up their finished work during the week following their class at the Duncan McClellan Glass Gallery office (Tuesday- Saturday 10am-5pm)

-Shipping finished glass pieces: students can arrange to have their finished pieces packed and shipped to them for an additional charge.

-Cancellation policy: cancellations must be made by phone at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled class time. We cannot refund cancellations made less than 24hrs in advance.
